Thanksgiving

On this day we remember how we were saved by Native Americans, later we'd cut their throats and scalp their children, from harsh weather and our own ignorance. They taught us how best to use the land, we would soon steal from them, while they practiced true family values. Suckers!

Over the years, time and again, we have shown ourselves to be a friend to the downtrodden throughout the world; and, so many have come to our country in search of the American Dream. Why not>? After all, in most cases, we had made their native lands unlivable; once these countries were raped of their natural resources and armies, trained by our military, were set loose on the people in defence of the indefensible!

Land, water, oil and gas: how did all of our stuff get there? Panama, Southeast Asia, S. America, Cuba; the list is endless; in our names their leaders were paid off or killed so our proud military could move in to protect 'our vital interests'; our interest bought with their blood!

Once unbridled capitalism was free to swallow the earth; in the name of freedom. Most of the people of the earth were isolated and were ignorant of the terrorism we inflicted for the greed of a few; and, few in this country cared.

We now live in a world where remote villages have cell phones and other technologies available to more of the peoples of the world. And, more and more of these people now see us for what we are and it is not pretty; no more will brown, black and yellow people believe the lies of the 'great white fathers'; they have learned the hard lessons the natives of our land learned many years ago! How's that for full circle?
