Christiane Amanpour; that's right boys and girls, former, made up, war corespondent for CNN, has taken the high profile desk job and immediately has shown how one can be for the slaughter in Afghanistan and come across with such style that one could be lulled into thinking this is a media star we can believe. No we cannot!
Ms. Amanpour opened w/interviews, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and War Sec. Robert Gates, for the Speaker she played a video that some loser put out there portraying Pelosi as a giant liberal devouring all good things in America; Pelosi had to stifle a laugh, it was a funny cartoon.
When speaking w/Mr. Gates there was nothing but a love fest; since, they are in agreement on policy and that WikiLeaks is dangerous to our troops in Afghanistan and our informants, the latter can look forward to being hunted down by the Taliban, leave it to our leaders and media stars to scare the crap out of everybody. Ass holes!
Populating the 'round table' segment were George Will, Donna Brazil and, Paul Krugman. Of course, Rep. Charlie Rangel was put before the arm chair hyenas, Mr. Krugman not being any one's bitch dared to correct the Will thing and tried to talk about the fact that no one is talking about the ongoing criminal investigation of Rapepublican Sen. Ensign; Krugman was interrupted by everybody and a commercial break.
And, that's the way it is Sunday August 1st, 2010; and, has been going on for thirty years, and more, and not getting any better.
'Buckle your seat belts' it will continue to be a bumpy ride.
