I know I'm not alone, although it feels very lonely on the left, even in the so called blue oasis of Atlanta in the stink pit of the state of Georgia. I don't know what is more maddening, the Teabaggers and their ilk, or the empty drones who seem unaware of the fascist take over in this nation.
Of course, I've come to believe that the chickens have come home to roost; and, deservedly so. Why should we not be subject to betrayal and murder? A nation founded on genocide of the indigenous peoples from sea to shining sea; the kidnapping and slavery of innocent peoples of Africa. Throughout our bloody history we have shown time and again that we will go anywhere in the world to murder, like the British Empire before us, the darker races, steal their natural resources, as we grow fatter and more stupid and deliberately obtuse.
Can anyone say, with any sense at all, that they are proud to be American? Proud of what? Let me count the ways: Proud of..............
The above stated genocide and mass murder and slavery?
Working all non wealthy Americans to death for pennies; eventually, sending their jobs to other countries where the people may be exploited even more cruelly?
The people being lied into countless wars where the sons of the poor are swept up and used as cannon fodder? False flag, Remember the Maine, Gulf of Tonkin and, of course, 9/11/01, (to name a few) operations to justify war!?
The Supremes steal a presidential election and install an ignorant, proud C student and the Grendel Cheney; and, most of the people just yawn and move on; leaving these corrupt, vile right wingers free to produce 'another Pearl Harbor' to fill the people will fear and their mouths with a taste for blood! Proud, yet?
