The War Service Industry

Fifty years ago Pres. Dwight David Esinhower warned, I was a little girl at the time, the nation about the Military Industrial Complex; originlly it read The Congressonal Military Industrial Complex has taken root!

Over the decades the federal government became buyers and sellers of the of war machines; the lastest boondogal over needlness and obsolete jets, not even wanted by the Pentagon!

This is just one, relatively, small case of the war service industry;the huge maws of the dogs of war are ever hungry for money and thirsty for blood. It matters not whose blood is spilt, whose life is wasted; corn fed, rosy cheeked or dark races all our fellow citizens,are fed, with gusto, into the meat grinder of the moment. Nothing but canon fodder for the WAR SERVICE INDUSTRY; Lt.Gen. Smedley Butley wrote many years ago that 'War is a Racket' and, he had the knowledge to know of what he spoke, proud and straight our young march into the death factory.

I hope the glorification of war will not forever be fed to our innocent sons and daughters; wise them up from the start. The number one recruiter in the world has been John Wayne; his whole life and career was that of a filthy liar and war monger. On film and in life he portrayed himself as a hero. That is the biggest joke of all; when we entered WWII, many movie stars joined the military, some to the detriment of their careers, John Wayne pulled every string in the book. He made sure he only fought our wars on film; some heroic icon.

Just watch 'The Green Beret' and see the hulking Wayne run up a mountain; while under heavy gun fire! LOL
